Character Specs

General Size: Varies. Pokemon sizes create complications between the normal human size and the size of the actual Pokemorph
General Lifespan: Pokemorphs reach maturity based on the level the Pokemon evolve, and, in some cases, reach adulthood much, much sooner than they mean to. Pokemorphs generally have a lifespan of 100 years, but usually do not see a year past 80.
Home City: Normally, Pokemorphs come from Allium Cove, the Pokemorph refuge of Kinamoto. If they are from other regions, they are very lucky they are still alive.
Colors: Pokemorphs normally either have the normal skin tone of a human being, or something a little closer to their Pokemon's fur or scale tone. Hair color and length varies wildly, as does the eye color. When counting in other things, such as wings, or scales, they are minor ascetic changes for a basic level Pokemorph, and everything grows slightly as a Pokemorph evolves.
Special Abilities: Pokemorphs act as the sixth Pokemon in any Pokemon party, and, as such, have abilities rather similar to a Pokemon.

General Morph Information

Pokemorphs are a rarity to the land. Rarely does the world get to see a famous Pokemorph, merely because they are the degenerates of the Kinamoto society. Created when the Mother and the Creator saw the conflict between humans and Pokemon, the Pokemorphs were born, or so they say. Though they originally saw that to the end of the initial war, it would be a matter of time before the humans and the Pokemorphs got into a war of their own.

Currently, Pokemorphs are sparse, due to the unsavory aura about them. Of course, they can come in various shapes and sizes... they're Pokemorphs!

Pokemorph Abilities

Pokemorphs, as with many other roleplays, are pretty much Humans with some pretty neat Pokemon traits. On Kinamoto, there are rules attached with a Pokemorph, as there are with every other race on this board. Please READ THESE RULES to make sure the Pokemorph is right for you.

1. Pokemorphs can battle Pokemon and other Pokemorphs, as well as Human trainers. As such, a Pokemorph is the sixth slot in a Pokemorph's Pokemon team. For any purposes related to picking out a Pokemon with Shaymin or getting a Pokemon through the teams, you are not penalized. So technically, you start off with two Pokemon.

2. Pokemorphs have a level Progression similar to Humans, for cases such as evolution or more Pokemorph traits. Level progression for a Pokemorph is listed below.

3. All Pokemorphs start at PREEVOLVED FORMS. That means a character who wishes to start cannot start off with a Level 1 Raichu Pokemorph. You start as a Pichu Pokemorph. This prevents anyone who wants to have a bird Pokemorph to fly right off the bat, or a water type Pokemon to start ferrying people around (who wants to do that anyways).

4. In evolution cases, a Pokemorph is just as stable or unstable as the Pokemon it has inherited its traits from. For example, an Eevee morph reacts just as widely as a regular Eevee around stones and the night and day. If you don't like that, find yourself an Everstone. For purposes of friendship evolution, a person not only has to feel self-confident with themselves, but must be bonded with their starter Pokemon to level 5.

5. You are still human for normal roleplaying purposes. Just because you're a Machop Pokemorph does not mean you get to pick up as much as a Machop does. To be safe, make it a halfway point between human and Pokemon for purposes of evaluating skills as such. This includes flying and swimming as well.

6. Pokemorphs gain a moveset similar to a Pokemon's: 4 Level Up Moves, 2 Egg Moves, and there are 3 Slots for TM/HM moves.

7. No Legendary Pokemon may be mixed together to form a Pokemorph at all, period, even if the Legendary doesn't mind humans all that much.

That all being said, the level progression will help evaluate whether you want to be a Pokemorph or not.

Level Progression

1. Pre-evolved Pokemon Morph form (complete with minor appearance traits), Elements of the Pokemon (including weaknesses and resistances), All default attacks (attacks that are listed with dashes or are unleveled), Access to level up moves up to level 10, Your 2 Egg Moves
2. Access to level up moves up to level 20, and an evolution IF the Pokemorph has a Pokemon form that evolves between levels 10 and 20. If evolution occurs, any Pokemorphs with wings will be able to carry themselves and 50 lbs. more across the land. Surfing Pokemon may only carry themselves and their own possessions, regardless of evolution. Any Pokemorph gains access to one of the Pokemon's abilities.
3. Access to level up moves up to level 30, and an evolution IF the Pokemorph has a Pokemon form that evolves between levels 21 and 30. If evolution occurs, any Pokemorphs with wings will be able to carry themselves and 100 lbs. more across the land. Surfing Pokemon may carry themselves and 75 lbs. in the oceans.
4. Access to level up moves up to level 40, and an evolution IF the Pokemorph has a Pokemon form that evolves between levels 31 and 40. Full Flight and Surf capabilities at this level.
5. Access to level up moves up to level 50, and an evolution IF the Pokemorph has a Pokemon form that evolves between levels 41 and 50. A Pokemorph is now in tune with nature, meaning that a Pokemorph can follow what's going on in the world just as well as a Pokemon of their species can.
6. Access to level up and evolution to level 60, IF Pokemorph has a form that allows it. Pokemorphs are now more accepted by most of their egg group.
7. Access to level up and evolution to level 70. Pokemorphs have become hardened with training and naturally know the battlefield by now, just as good as any level 70 Pokemon.
8. Access to level up and evolution to level 80. Pokemorphs have the uncanny ability to get themselves in and out of their Pokemon form's natural habitat (IE a Pikachu morph can climb trees until the cows come home)
9. Access to level up and evolution to level 90. Pokemorphs choose between either gaining another move slot of any more type (other than Egg), or they learn a Move Tutor attack. Move Tutor attacks are listed in the Tomes.
10. Access to every level up and evolution in that Pokemon form's line. Pokemorphs have become so utterly good at what they do, that they are sometimes mistaken for a Pokemon of their type.
